2000 Series strobe beacons are more reliable, last longer and throw a more intense warning signal than conventional rotating lights, yet they cost about the same.Whelen's plug-in 3-pin Xenon flash-tubes are an exclusive design which provide ten times the lamp life of incandescent or halogen lamps - usually 2,000 or more oper-ating hours. The flash-tube can easily be changed in the field without having to remove the entire unit. These 2000B Series beacons use only half the power, so there is less battery drain when vehicle engines are shut down.
