The Orion® FX multigas detector is a low-cost, reliable and easy-to-use portable instrument for detecting the presence of O2,CO and combustible gas. AC charger and optional built-in sampling pump are included in the price. The Orion ® FX detector offers all of the advanced detection features of the best-selling Orion multigas detector, but with an improved LEL sensor that has faster response and release times for toluene, xylene, and other aromatic hydrocarbons. With these enhancements, the Orion® FX detector is ideal for use in the chemical and petrochemical markets, where fast detection and clearing of aromatic hydrocarbons is crucial. Calibration is intuitive. It's accomplished with the push of a single button. This autocalibration feature greatly simplifies calibration and reduces training needs. Adjustments are limited to 30 percent of the expected span value, which helps to prevent improper calibration.The Orion® FX multigas detector has excellent resistance to penetration from water and dust,allowing it to perform in the harshest environments. The unit has a weather resistance rating of IP54 and has successfully passed a six-foot drop test. With one of the largest displays of any four gas portable detector on the market, the Orion ® FX multigas detector is easy to read. Its backlighting pro-vides exceptional contrasts, making it easy to read in low-light conditions and from a variety of angles. All three gases are displayed at one time, along with measured readings. Alarm lights are also easily visible from all angles.
